I think I agree with what a lot of people have been saying. Stillwater really doesn’t have a “nice” restaurant. I would love a good date restaurant, maybe something where you wouldn’t look ridiculous in anything nicer than jeans. Joseppi’s sort of fills this niche, but I think the food there isn’t that great. Not a particular restaurant suggestion, just a thought for what Stillwater is missing.

Stillwater has a handful of mexican restaurants, but they’re all gross. Olive Garden, Baker Street, Johnny Carino’s, or a seafood/steak restaurant
Olive Garden would be perfect for Stillwater!
No offense to Joseppi’s, but we definitely need some more Italian places in Stillwater. People were so sad when Fazoli’s left, and that place wasn’t even that good! I would like to see an Olive Garden or a Zio’s come in.
I love Texas Roadhouse and they are always super busy, so an Outback or Saltgrass would probably be just as good in this town!
Just please, PLEASE no more Mexican food places similar to the ones we have. They all seem to stem from the same company and they are all gross. If you are wanting to bring another one, bring Ted’s!

Saltgrass would be a great restaurant to have in Stillwater. It has several different types of food. It is nice, yet not too fancy.
CELEBRATION STATOIN! That would be awesome! I would love a cool, fun place to take our kids here in town!
How about a nice mom & pop type place with good food at reasonable prices?

I am so psyched about the new indian place. I hear there may be another one on the way. I say bring it on. Other college towns have much more international offerings (e.g., middle eastern, ethiopian, greek, spanish).
Cheesecake Factory would be a great match for Stillwater. It would especially get attention while families are their students and alumni are coming back throughout the year.
Outback would also be a good choice due to the inexpensive menu choices and it also breaks away from the Mexican food that dominates Stillwater.
Stillwater needs a PF changs. or another relatively nice restaurant. Something that is healthier and not full of fat or MSG.
Yea because, PF Changs doesn’t have any MSG or fat in their food.
Turkish Doner Kebap!! These are everywhere in Europe and they are awesome. I know that most of my friends that have been to Europe miss eating Kebap. It would be something that’s actually different rather than another burger, pizza, chinese, or italian restaurant. I think it would be extremely popular.

WE NEED AN OLIVE GARDEN! A PF Chang or Pei Wei (the fast food version of PF’s) would be great also.
All are great choices except for pei wei. Stillwater is lacking in the restaurants with a modern atmosphere. I think more people would prefer what a nice restaurant (olive garden and PF Changs) has to offer than another fast food joint.

I agree. Sirloin Stockade needs some competition! Not that I don’t like the Stockade, but they’re the only buffet besides Chinese in town.

Yea I love Italian food that comes frozen out of the box, people in Stillwater wouldn’t even know what to do with authentic Italian food. They would probably discredit it like everything else and look to a company that doesn’t support the community. Hooray for your outsourced corporate monster, thank you for putting money back into the community, hypocrites!!
I agree that an olive garden would be great, but do we really need another restaurant? That would be like saying we need another bank. You can barely drive a block without seeing one and/or the other.
Come to the West side of town if you’re tired of seeing restaraunts.
Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill….we need some GOOD Italian, but also some healthier choices. Which Which and Pita Pit are a good start, but some upscale healthy choices would be great.
